Pennsic Woes

CoifI have several post just bursting to get out onto this blog.  Some of them go back to jousting several weeks ago, others are what is an obvious failure on my part to wrap up Gulf Wars.  However, at the current time, a good portion of the folks that would be interested in reading this blog are off at a little event in Pennsylvania called Pennsic.  As it would be kind of pointless to mention most of the posts until they have returned.  However, I do have a few items continueing in my cleanout process and will do those as auction the armour archive running through Monday until 10:00pm.

First up is a mail coif.  It is riveted in mild steel and is the typical size rings.  The rings are not flat though, but rather round.  I just bought this a few months ago for $175 and have just decided it is not really what I want and need.  Nothing wrong with it all though.  I would like to get at least $150 back on it and will not sell for less, short of some kind of good offer otherwise.

Up second is another coat of plates.  This one is blue with red trip and is sized to fit what I would call a medium.  Basically a 36-38 chest and will go 4 inces or so in either direction.  It was used by a partner for mounted combat on occasion and does have some wear and is a bit dirty but is in over all good conditon and would be ready to go.  Will start a bid at $25 and whatever it goes to by Monday evening it is gone.
